Lecture evening of the Lions Club Biedenkopf with Norbert Müller

The lecture evening on 15.10.2019 with Mr. Norbert Müller as speaker on the topic "digitalization" was an absolute highlight in the current Lions year. The topic of the lecture met with a very high resonance. Accordingly, the number of club members and guests attending was high. All seats were occupied. That was very pleasing. Mr. Müller presented the topic "digitalization" in a very vivid and practical way in front of local entrepreneurs, managing directors and representatives of the medical profession. Based on his decades of extremely sound experience in various top positions as a manager in globally active companies, Mr. Müller pointed out very precisely the possible opportunities and risks that arise in the design of digitization. Very gratifying for those present: Mr. Müller not only offered a well-founded analysis of the situation, but he also very clearly pointed out necessary courses of action for shaping the future of Germany as a business location. The fact that he had "hit the nail on the head" was very clearly shown in the course of the discussion that followed the presentation. The high level of active participation in the debate very clearly demonstrated the high level of interest in the topic among all participants. The unanimous opinion of the club members was articulated very clearly after the event: The lecture evening with Mr. Müller was a real highlight of the current Lions year.

Der Vortragsabend am 15.10.2019 mit Herrn Norbert Müller als Referenten zum Thema „Digitalisierung“ war ein absoluter Höhepunkt im aktuellen Lions-Jahr. Das Vortragsthema ist auf sehr hohe Resonanz gestoßen. Dementsprechend hoch war die Teilnehmerzahl der Clubmitglieder und Gäste. Alle Plätze waren besetzt. Das war sehr erfreulich. Herr Müller hat vor heimischen Unternehmern, Geschäftsführern und Vertretern der Ärzteschaft sehr anschaulich und praxisnah das Thema „Digitalisierung“ aufbereitet. Aufgrund seiner jahrzehntelangen äußerst fundierten Erfahrungen in verschiedenen Spitzenpositionen als Führungskraft in weltweit agierenden Unternehmen hat Herr Müller sehr präzise auf mögliche Chancen und Risiken, die sich bei der Ausgestaltung der Digitalisierung ergeben, hingewiesen. Für die Anwesenden sehr erfreulich: Herr Müller bot nicht nur eine fundierte Situationsanalyse, sondern er zeigte auch sehr klar nötige Handlungsmöglichkeiten für die Zukunftsgestaltung des Wirtschaftsstandorts Deutschland auf. Dass er damit „den Nagel auf den Kopf“ getroffen hatte, zeigte sich sehr deutlich im Verlauf der sich an den Vortrag anschließenden Diskussion. Die hohe aktive Beteiligung an der Aussprache hat sehr anschaulich gezeigt, wie hoch das Interesse aller Beteiligten am Thema war. Die einhellige Meinung der Clubmitglieder wurde nach Beendigung der Veranstaltung sehr deutlich artikuliert: Der Vortragsabend mit Herrn Müller war ein wirklicher Höhepunkt im aktuellen Lions-Jahr.
