Michael Geil was born in 1959 and studied business administration at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen.
After completing his studies, he began his professional career at Siemens with responsibilities in strategy and marketing as well as process and organizational consulting.
After the private equity buy-out of a medical technology division, he held management positions in the new company for many years, had global business responsibility for several business units and was Managing Director of the Group's largest site based in southern Hesse.
During this time, he successfully shaped the following:
- Transformation process from a group to a medium-sized company
- Further development of the product portfolio, particularly in the direction of digitalization
- Development and market launch of more than 10 innovative products
- Acquisition of companies to complement the portfolio
- Development of strategic partnerships
- Development of a value creation structure in China
- Consolidation and further development of location structures
He was a board member of various business and entrepreneurial associations in southern Hesse and is still an honorary judge at the regional labor court in Frankfurt.
His consulting focus is on innovation and portfolio management, time-to-market processes, the development of new business areas and the strategic development of companies - both established companies and start-ups.
As a mentor and coach, he contributes his management knowledge and network and provides critical feedback on new concepts. And he does so on the basis of his values: respect and appreciation, openness, honesty and reliability.
